Setting up an IMAP email account in Outlook 2016

When you receive your website, you will have a number of options with regards how you’d like your email configured and setup. Using IMAP is a popular option for people who want to use mail applications on different devices. Unlike POP mail, IMAP will make sure all mail is synchronised between, say – your phone, tablet, and laptop.
The following guide shows you how to install an IMAP email account on Microsoft Outlook 2016.
Click on File at the top right hand corner.
Click the option for Add Account.
Enter the email address that you wish to setup. You will then need to open up the Advanced options and tick the box for Let me set up my account manually, and click Connect.
Next, choose the option for IMAP.
Enter the following server settings displayed in the image below, and click Connect.
You will then be prompted to enter your email password.
Click OK to complete the setup.
