Setting up an IMAP email account in Mac Mail

When you receive your website, you will have a number of options with regards how you’d like your email configured and setup. Using IMAP is a popular option for people who want to use mail applications on different devices. Unlike POP mail, IMAP will make sure all mail is synchronised between, say – your phone, tablet, and laptop.
The following guide shows you how to install an IMAP email account on the Mail app on your Mac.
Once you have opened Mac Mail, click on Mail > Add Account.
Next select the option for Other Mail Account, and click Continue.
Enter a Display Name, your Email Address and your Email Password, and click Sign in.
You will now need to enter the server information provided to you, and click Sign in.
You can now click Done to complete the setup.
