How I Get Your Business Taking Payments
I can develop websites which take payments, or convert existing sites to be ready for accepting money. The process is simple.
CHOOSE YOUR DOMAIN
You may already have a domain name, but if not – don’t worry. Your domain name is the web address that people type in to the address bar to reach your website (mine is websiteright.co.uk). I can help you pick and register a domain name, however, here are a few tips if you’re looking to do it yourself…
- Make it memorable
- Make it short
- Make it easy to spell
- Avoid hyphens
- Avoid trademarked names
- Include relevant keywords
Once I have registered the domain as being yours, I will then get the website connected with my super-fast secure server – this is place where your site contents will be physically stored – images, videos, contents, databases and more.
HOSTING YOUR ECOMMERCE WEBSITE
Link your Domain
A domain name is like a mobile phone, you buy it – but it needs to be connected to a network (or in my case – a server) for it to be any use to you. The server is where your site is located!
I Host Websites!
I have a secure and fast server where your site can be hosted. Rock-solid and lightning quick (however you can host it yourself if you want to) – there is no charge for this for the first year.
Email Addresses
Once your hosting is set up, I can create as many email addresses for you as you want. (When your site is fully complete, you’ll be given unrestricted access to add as many more as you want).
SSL Certificate
FREE whilst you’re hosting with me. This puts the padlock in the address bar, and whilst it serves a technical function, it also gives users peace of mind that they’re shopping safely.

Creating Your Site
I’ll send you a number of templates and ideas which match your requirements, you pick the one you like, and I can tinker them to make them just how you want them.
Loading in Products
I can load in products to your website, or leave this for you to do. Obviously this does take time, so if you have a lower budget, I can also do a demo of one product and teach you to do the rest!
Payment Gateways
To take payments, I have a number of trusted partners including Stripe, Paypal and Braintree – all of which take payments (and transfer the money to you within a fews days).
Tailoring Purchase Actions
Once a visitor purchases, I can automate the action that is required. They can have access to their download, get their product receipt, be joined to a particular mailing list – lots of options!
