Sponsorship of Weymouth vs Cambridge City

At the weekend, I was really pleased to be able to sponsor Weymouth FC as they met Cambridge City in the Southern Premier League at the Bob Lucas Stadium. This was the first time I had announced the Website Right brand, and I had some excellent feedback from spectators and staff members.
The hospitality from Weymouth was excellent, and after the game, it was great to be able to chat to a few names who are closely linked with AFC Bournemouth, none other than Stephane Zubar – former Cherries defender, who was instrumental at the back in the comprehensive 2-0 win.
I had the honour of announcing the Man of the Match award, and despite Zubar’s instrumental performance at the back, I plumped for Rodriguez
The victory saw Weymouth dominate from start to finish, and included some excellent football including a wonder-goal from distance from Aaron Rodriguez. With Calvin Brooks adding the second for the Terras, it was a win which put Weymouth further up the table, extending their unbeaten run to seven games.
As sponsor, I had the honour of announcing the Man of the Match award, and despite Zubar’s instrumental performance at the back, I plumped for Rodriguez – as his goal sparked the home side into life, and was a key breakthrough at a very testing time for Weymouth.
